Photographs taken on Sunday 1st February 2009. The ocassion was LA1440s return to the road with a day long tour round former Glasgow bus routes. Matching JJD 365D also joined the tour and both vehicles looked superb in the matching G.C.T livery. Although the forecast was to be very cold, over 30 people joined us and a fantastic day was had by all. It even stayed dry and the sun came out a few times too!

During the day the tour covered Auchenshuggle, Tollcross, Rutherglen, Castlemilk, Battlefield, Southside, Govan, Drumchapel, Knightswood, Maryhill and Springburn. A lunch stop was also made at Braehead centre.

The reaction from many First bus drivers seeing a proper Glasgow bus back on the road was interesting! and many members of the public came out their house or stopped in the street to take photos!

The first on many tours, many thanks to Justin and Hugo the other drivers on the day, and Andy & Tommy for helping to plan the route and for being my "Sat Nav" on the day. Many thanks also to Michael for the use of the vehicles and the Fuel.
